Movie Review: The Box

This recent movie the box is a retling of a older story. Where on a day like any regular old day you receive a package which contains a Button and two thing will happend when it is pushed. First someone somewhere will die. Second you will inherit a payment of $1,000,000 dollars (A large sum of money).

In the movie your put in the shoes of a young American family back in the 1970's. they wake up early one morning to find a box resting on the doorstep. Inside is a black box with a clear dome covering a large red button. Latter the wife meets a gentlmen who informs her of the "Offer" and gives them 24 hour from then to decide. during this time the husband and wife are not allowed to tell anyone about it. They (as would anyone) could use the extra money for themselves and there family. But would they kill a stranger for it? And what kind of Person would run such a operation?

When I think about it there are two good storyies you could tell with this, the thoughts of the person holding the button and the story of the said person to die from it.

You could have the person looking at many different aspects of how this deal affects the person, how he/she thinks and feels which would lead to there conclusion. The show followed closer to the second of the two. which leads to more of the curiosity of the mechanics of the operation and the people who function within it.

There is a twist to this tale but just like the details will remain unsaid at least for now.and befor you go I would like to ask. (which you probably could see coming from a mile away) Would you push the button?

The 2009 Christmas Letter

For those I know will be well aware of my attention to events around the year would know how attentive I am with greetings. So naturally the Christmas cheer will be brought to you via Holly. Who recently informed me that it was time for the routine of Christmas cards. So when you come across a letter from us be prepared for a hello, a color photo, and some general happenstances throughout the year.

Just in case someone is curious about myself or the lack of in the letter, My life has been running about the same as last year. If you find details lacking pertaining to myself, I simply am just living my life. That's the point me thinks. So if any moment jumps out, knocks me over the head and steals my wallet, I'll post up a warning notice for the people to read.

Oh and don't forget to enjoy the holiday before the lights and presents.

If you find yourself dazed by the concept of it all then I recommend you direct them to the people running the show (last I checked they don't bite) I'm fuzzy on any further details.

You found a message in a bottle. Do you open it?

Help! I'm trapped in a mass produced web page! Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Relying on the curiosity of a stranger to read my wayward message resting on a strange shore is a lost cause. but the thought comforts me, so I will right this note. I was built almost two year ago in hopes to accomplish his own ambitions, but as time passed by he found that simply starting a web page didn't meet what he desired, so he left. Now I am all that remains, in this cookie cutter design with empty space as my closest company. It is a very dull existence but I make the most of it. It would be nice to be found though.
